FLEX HONES
Flex-Hone.
The Flex-Hone Tool produces a controlled surface condition unobtainable by any other method. The process involves finish, geometry and metallurgical structure.
A high percentage plateaued surface is produced free of cut, torn and folded metal. The process leaves a nondirectional crosshatched pattern on the surface, which contains valuable valleys between the plateaus for oil retention.
The process is a low-temp, low pressure abrading system that exposes the undisturbed base metal structure to produce a long wearing surface.
The tool itself is a resilient, flexible tool with a soft cutting action. It's construction allows the abrasive stones to float assuring the tool self centers, selt alignes, and is self compensating for wear.
